How We Work
Our engaging approach to assessing and addressing workplace culture begins with a thorough understanding of your business and your people. We work hard to create a confidential and safe space to enable the conversations that need to happen so that we’re in the best possible position to be informed and responsive to individual and organizational interests. We have extensive experience working in large multi-union environments and the complexities that come with them. We look for opportunities to engage with relevant stakeholders in collaborative discussion that attends to mutual interests. Our work can be done remotely or onsite, and typically involves a combination of services across a span of time, whether the work is project-based or in the form of an ongoing support that you access as needed.

About Kyle, President and Owner
Workplace Culture and Employee Conflict Intervention Expertise
Kyle Smith has extensive experience investigating and addressing employee relations issues across diverse work groups throughout Alberta. Kyle has developed a strong reputation in the Edmonton labour relations community having worked for both employer and union, and he is often able to bring a unique perspective having successfully addressed a multitude of workplace issues while working in these roles.
Kyle provides an informed perspective on employee issues across a broad spectrum of subjects and operating environments; having worked in both the private and public sectors. He recognizes the importance of incorporating a relational approach when addressing difficult and sensitive employee issues in an ever-changing employment environment and believes strongly in treating employees with the utmost respect regardless of whether the matter is a challenging investigation, a group facilitation or a comprehensive discussion on a leader’s options.
Kyle’ significant and diverse human resources experience most notably includes misconduct and respectful workplace investigations & culture assessments, conflict intervention, workplace restoration, dispute resolution/grievances, collective bargaining, training development and delivery, group facilitation, leadership coaching and project management. His adaptable approach to communication enables fruitful interactions with both individuals and groups across all levels of an organization. Kyle prioritizes bringing value, mutual understanding and impact-focused solutions to complex employee challenges.
